COPCon XVIII

COPCon returns a summer ‘special’! A relaxed few hours playing Old School Magic.
Key details:
– The venue is 5 min walk from Walthamstow Central tube, about 25 min travel from King’s Cross.
– Event opens at midday for a 12:30pm sharp start.
– Swedish OS banned and restricted list.
– UK card-printing legality (i.e. any nearly any non-foil old-frame card is legal, no new-frame cards).
– Collectors’ Edition and International Collectors’ Edition will NOT be legal for this event. However, you can play these cards in casual games around the event.
– Foils, Magic 30th Anniversary Edition and WCD cards will NOT be legal for this event.
– Post-tournament casual games and drinks

Prizes:
– The ‘Spirit of COPcon’ award is the main prize – a Brothers Of Fire, signed by all tournament entrants, and awarded to the player with the most original deck or most sporting play.
– The winner of the competition gets a traditional Circle of Protection Artifacts

As usual at COPcon, this event will be held in accordance the spirit of Old School – enjoying the game rather than seeking maximum competitiveness.
Afterwards, everyone is encouraged to stick around for cube and casual games, including our house format, Brothers’ Highlander.
