III Old Frame Madrid League
The third stage of the Old Frame Madrid League was celebrated last April 17th, 2022, just a month after the second stage happened. Madrid has really adopted the Old Frame Vintage format and we are happy to report the results.
Nine players took place in the four rounds of this stage and it was David Aparicio who, after playing in the previous two stages, ended up with his first victory, as the only unbeaten deck of the day.
David played neither of the two decks he had played in the two previous editions of the league: Hulk Smash and TPS. Instead he went for an option that had pretty much seen no play since the creation of the Old Frame Vintage format: High Tide.
And boy, did his Islands perform. As you can see in this video of the finals, they got to provide even UUUUU when tapped.
