Historical Type 2: Alliances

Deck Construction Rules

• Cards per deck: At least 60 plus a 15-card sideboard.
• Allowed sets: Fourth Edition, The Dark, Chronicles, Fallen Empires, Ice Age, Homelands, Alliances.
• Reprint rules: Every version that is Old Frame and uses art that existed by Alliances is allowed.

Rules

Contemporary rules and errata are followed.

Banned and Restricted Cards

• Banned: Amulet of Quoz, Bronze Tablet, Channel, Jeweled Bird, Mind Twist, Rebirth, Tempest Efreet, Timmerian Fiends.
• Restricted: Balance, Black Vise, Hymn to Tourach, Ivory Tower, Land Tax, Strip Mine, Zuran Orb.
